Job Description

At Shiraz Kitchen, I set your table the way my mother Iran sets hers in Tehran: with saffron, with patience, with the sense that everyone who sits down is family. Our Chelsea room is Persian-Mediterranean, and behind the bar sits a cellar of 235+ wines alongside cocktails we make with the same care as the food.

I'm looking for a part-time bartender who pours with warmth. Someone who can talk a guest through a glass of wine, keep the bar moving during a full happy hour, and treat regulars like they've been coming for years, because soon they will have.

What you'll do

• Craft cocktails and pour wine and beer to spec, cleanly and consistently
• Run the bar during service, including our daily happy hour (bar seats only)
• Make guests feel looked after from the first hello to the last check
• Keep your station stocked, clean, and ready
• Work with the floor and kitchen so the whole night runs smooth

What I'm looking for

• Real bartending experience in a restaurant or wine bar
• Comfort with wine service; curiosity about it if you're still learning
• A calm, generous presence under a busy Friday rush
• Reliability and a genuine warmth with people
• NYC food handler basics and of-age to serve alcohol
