Cafe Attendant - Job Description Primary Responsibilities: * Operate the cash register and process customer transactions accurately * Prepare and process service tags accurately * Handle paperwork and administrative tasks * Clean and maintain equipment (coffee machines, food warmers, etc.) * Follow food safety and handling procedures * Ensure compliance with health and safety standards Store Maintenance & Merchandising: * Conduct frequent lobby and lounge checks (every 15-30 minutes) to maintain cleanliness, organization, and product availability * Clean and organize all areas, including floors, shelves, cafe tables/booths, counters, and guest waiting areas. * Stock and merchandise products, including snacks, beverages, and supplies * Monitor and replenish self-service beverage bars and high-traffic areas throughout the shift * Maintain organization of storage areas * Ensure product displays are fully stocked and properly faced Customer Service (Strong Emphasis): * Provide friendly, professional customer service at all times * Assist customers with locating products and answering questions * Proactively monitor customer needs and address concerns during lobby inspections * Maintain a welcoming environment Essential Functions: * Stand for extended periods * Lift and carry products (up to 40-pound weight) * Perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced retail environment * Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays * Multi-task effectively while managing multiple priorities Required Skills: Exceptional customer service, attention to detail, reliability, and ability to maintain store standards while managing multiple simultaneous tasks.
