Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to join our team at Developmental Preschool and Day Care Center. In this role, you will support the growth and development of children from birth to 5 years old, fostering a nurturing environment that promotes learning through play and exploration.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and nurturing care to children in a safe environment. Provide direct supervision to all children for the entire duration of your shift.
• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities that promote growth in various areas such as cognitive, social-emotional, and physical development.
• Support children with disabilities by adapting activities to meet their individual needs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
• Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive educational experience for all children.

Requirements

• Experience in childcare or early childhood education is preferred.
• Strong caregiving skills with a passion for working with young children.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management techniques.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and community partners.
• Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
