Controller

The Controller will oversee financial operations, including preparing financial reports, managing budgets, driving financial planning, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Responsibilities also include leading initiatives for financial process improvement, supervising accounting staff, and managing audits and tax return filings. The Controller will collaborate with leadership to provide insights for strategic decision-making and ensure the financial health of the organization.

Qualifications

• Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
• Proficiency in accounting practices, audit preparation, and compliance with financial regulations
• Experience with financial systems, process improvement, and managing accounting teams
• Advanced proficiency with accounting software and tools, as well as Microsoft Excel
• Solid analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or MBA is a plus
• Experience in the renewable energy, construction, or real estate sectors is preferred but not required
• Demonstrated ability to work in a hybrid or flexible work environment
