We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable First Aid Instructor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for educating individuals in essential first aid and CPR techniques, ensuring they are equipped with the skills necessary to respond effectively in emergency situations. The ideal candidate will possess strong public speaking abilities and a passion for teaching, making learning engaging and informative.

Part Time/Full-Time/Seasonal/Contract

This is a independent contractor position.

Duties

• Deliver comprehensive first aid and CPR training sessions for various audiences, including adults and youth.
• Facilitate classroom discussions and hands-on practice to enhance learning outcomes.
• Assess participants' understanding through practical demonstrations and written evaluations.
• Maintain an organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Stay updated on the latest first aid protocols and teaching methodologies to ensure the highest quality of instruction.
• Provide feedback to participants on their performance and areas for improvement.

Experience

• Proven experience in adult education or teaching, preferably in a classroom setting preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
• Must obtain a certificate in Adult First Aid/CPR/AED, Basic life Support, or Adult & Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED. If not we are willing to assist with certifying you in all required certificates.
• Experience in public speaking or leading training sessions is a plus.
• A passion for educating others about safety and emergency preparedness is essential.
