What We're Looking For (Qualifications)

• Experience: 1- 3+ years of clinical chairside dental assisting experience OR a graduation certification from an accredited dental assistant school.
• Certifications: Active BLS/CPR certification.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with modern practice management software (experience with Open Dental is a major plus).
• Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills, clear and honest communication style, and a gentle, compassionate approach to patient care.
• Mindset: A positive attitude, a team-first mindset, and total alignment with our mission to provide high-quality, family-focused care.
• Safety & Compliance: This position is safety-sensitive; a pre-employment drug screening is required. We strictly follow all CDC, OSHA, and ADA guidelines to maintain a safe environment.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities)

• Chairside Excellence: Provide high-quality four-handed chairside assistance to our dentists during general and cosmetic procedures.
• Patient Comfort: Deliver a gentle, judgment-free patient experience, ensuring our Gresham community members feel completely safe and welcomed.
• Clinical Flow: Efficiently prepare, sterilize, and turn over instruments and treatment rooms according to strict infection control protocols.
• Team Collaboration: Work seamlessly alongside our front office and clinical staff to keep our fast-paced daily scheduling running smoothly.
