Job Description:

As a Sr. Instructional Designer, you will be focused on Overseeing the creation of learning assets for various parts of the business, including but not limited to: Continuous Learning, all our onboarding programs and other business lines. The Sr. Instructional Designer is part of the Wealth Management Learning & Coaching team, reporting through Sales Operations in the Branch Network. As a team player, you will inspire transformation by designing remarkable learning experiences and collaborate to deliver and evolve training across all sales channels. You will partner with business, sales leadership, and internal stakeholders to craft and deliver modern learning approaches that empower our people to realize their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate) to guide the end-to-end development of effective learning solutions
  • Analyze performance needs in partnership with business stakeholders and SMEs to identify root causes and define learning requirements
  • Design and develop high-quality learning assets, including content outlines, Learning Design Documents (LDDs), storyboards, and final deliverables (e.g., eLearning, job aids, blended solutions)
  • Develop assessments and measurement strategies to evaluate learning effectiveness and alignment to objectives
  • Review and refine deliverables to ensure quality, accuracy, and alignment with approved design standards
  • Partner with stakeholders, SMEs, and cross-functional teams to deliver learning solutions aligned to business outcomes
  • Apply accessibility standards and inclusive design principles across all deliverables
  • Contribute to learning roadmap discussions by providing learner-centric insights and design recommendations
  • Assess design trade-offs and provide recommendations based on learner experience, scalability, and business impact
  • Demonstrate strong project ownership by managing timelines, priorities, and deliverables with attention to detail and quality

Required Skills, Experiences, Education and Competencies:

  • 6+ years of experience designing and developing blended learning solutions in a corporate or enterprise environment
  • Strong knowledge of instructional design methodologies, including application of the ADDIE model and adult learning principles
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze performance needs and translate them into effective, scalable learning solutions
  • Expertise in designing and developing learning assets, including eLearning, instructor-led, and blended formats
  • Experience developing assessment strategies and evaluating learning effectiveness against defined objectives
  • Advanced proficiency in content development tools such as Articulate Rise, Storyline, Captivate, and related technologies
  • Familiarity with AI-based tools (e.g., content generation, media creation, or workflow automation) to support efficient and scalable learning design a plus
  • Experience working within Learning Management Systems (LMS) and understanding of learning product lifecycle processes
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills; ability to guide SMEs and business partners through the learning design and development process
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, learner-friendly content
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality, usability, and learner experience
  • Ability to manage multiple deliverables and deadlines in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office, SharePoint, MS Teams, and Adobe tools (e.g., Photoshop, Premiere Pro); experience with visual and multimedia design a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in organizational Behavior, Education, Communications, Design, or related field (or equivalent experience)

The hourly range for roles of this nature are $45.00 to $65.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
