Job Summary

Most Sacred Heart Catholic Church & School is seeking a   Part-Time Librarian (one day per week) . This role supports the academic and spiritual mission of the school by managing library resources and fostering a love of reading,

Job Responsibilities

Library Management

• Organize, catalog, and maintain a collection of printed materials appropriate for students
• Manage and maintain library system and resources
• Assist with selection and ordering of materials within budget guidelines
• Maintain a welcoming, safe, and engaging library environment

Instructional Support

• Support students in selecting appropriate and engaging reading materials
• Collaborate with teachers to support curriculum through literature and library resources

Student Engagement

• Foster a love of reading and lifelong learning
• Encourage student curiosity through books
• Reading to children

Job Requirements

• Experience working with children in a school or educational setting
• Familiarity with library systems and checkout
• Strong organizational, communication, and basic technology skills
• Practicing Catholic or willing to support and uphold the Catholic mission
