Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled HIL Test Engineer to support engine systems development and validation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for simulation-based testing, validation, and documentation of engine control features using Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) and Model-in-the-Loop (MIL) methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain technical documentation including tuning guides, test plans, test reports, and certification documents for engine system features.
• Analyze problem statements and support system-level solution development for software change requests.
• Develop and review software requirements using MATLAB, Simulink, and Stateflow.
• Build and support feature-level simulation models for validation activities.
• Perform software validation using Model-in-the-Loop (MIL) and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing, including both open-loop and closed-loop testing.
• Execute and support bench testing activities (remote access provided) to validate system functionality and performance.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure accurate implementation and verification of control strategies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong experience with MATLAB, Simulink, and Stateflow
• Hands-on experience in HIL/MIL testing and validation
• Understanding of embedded systems and engine control systems
• Experience with test automation and simulation environments
• Strong analytical and debugging skills
• Good documentation and communication skills
