Preconstruction Manager – Industrial / Warehouse Projects
📍 Burlington, NJ area (office-based)
💰 Base salary up to $150K + car allowance + strong benefits
A well-established, privately held general contractor is looking to add a Preconstruction Manager to their growing team. This firm has more work than they can currently support and is seeking a senior-level professional to help lead preconstruction efforts and capture additional industrial and warehouse opportunities.
This is a highly visible role working directly with leadership and clients, ideal for someone who combines strong estimating expertise with the ability to conceptualize and communicate projects early in the lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead preconstruction efforts on industrial and warehouse projects, primarily hard-bid work
• Meet directly with clients to conceptualize projects, develop early budgets, and guide feasibility
• Collaborate with estimating teams to translate concepts into accurate pricing
• Support business development efforts and help secure new work
• Mentor and oversee junior preconstruction team members
• Play a critical role in expanding the firm’s project pipeline
What They’re Looking For:
• Up to 15 years of preconstruction / estimating experience with a General Contractor
• Strong background in industrial, warehouse, or large commercial construction
• Ability to engage confidently with clients and think conceptually, not just price drawings
• Experience managing or mentoring junior team members is a plus
• Must be commutable to the office
