MAU is hiring a Safety Trainer in Loudon, TN. As a Safety Trainer, you will lead safety initiatives, deliver training programs, and ensure compliance with workplace safety standards while supporting approximately 25 temporary associates.

Shift Information- Full-time
- Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Occasional nights and weekends based on business needs

Required Education and Experience- Bachelor's degree or three (3) years of applicable experience

Essential Functions- Drive safety as the top priority for MAU at the customer site
- Serve as a safety role model for all associates
- Perform a minimum of five (5) quality Behavior-Based Observations (BBOs) weekly
- Utilize Second Obligation principles to promote a safe work environment
- Lead or assist with 4-Step Problem Solving sessions
- Develop and update work standards using Microsoft Word and Excel
- Create training videos based on established work standards
- Conduct weekly safety gemba walks
- Deliver OSHA-required safety training
- Conduct Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) authorized training
- Certify associates on powered industrial equipment
- Provide platform-specific safety, GMP, and job-specific training
- Train and certify associates according to established standards
- Maintain training documentation, matrices, and records in Microsoft Teams and Bullhorn
- Ensure completion of 30-day, 90-day, and annual training reviews
- Coach associates to improve performance and safety compliance
- Assist in developing departmental and site training standards
- Support site-wide communication of policy changes
- Serve as a witness during attendance, performance, and conduct counseling sessions
- Prepare communications as directed by leadership
Work Environment and Physical Demands- Work in both office and manufacturing or warehouse environments
- Exposure to manufacturing equipment and powered industrial vehicles
- Work in varying temperatures, including non-climate-controlled environments
- May work in GMP clean room environments
- Frequent standing, walking, training, and interaction with production teams
Physical Requirements- Ability to walk up to six (6) miles per day
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
TravelOccasional travel required, typically less than 25 miles per month
