Senior Engineering Manager | Manufacturing Leadership
Burlington, NC | $120K–$135K + Bonus
US Enhanced Personnel is partnering with a well-established precision manufacturing company to identify a Senior Engineering Manager to lead engineering and estimating operations.
This is a key leadership role responsible for driving technical strategy, supporting manufacturing operations, and developing high-performing engineering teams .
If you come from a sheet metal fabrication or CNC machining environment and enjoy mentoring engineers while solving complex manufacturing challenges, this could be a strong opportunity.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
• Leading engineering and estimating teams
• Supporting production through design for manufacturability (DFM)
• Advising customers on best practices for product design and manufacturing processes
• Improving estimating accuracy and costing strategies
• Evaluating new manufacturing technologies and process improvements
• Establishing engineering standards, procedures, and documentation
• Partnering with production, quality, and sales to deliver successful projects
• Recruiting, mentoring, and developing engineering talent
What We’re Looking For
• 10+ years of experience in sheet metal fabrication and/or CNC machining
• 5+ years leading engineering or technical teams
• Experience managing estimating and cost analysis functions
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes such as laser cutting, forming, welding, and machining
• Experience with 3D CAD software and engineering drawings (GD&T)
• Ability to work cross-functionally with production and customers
Compensation & Benefits
• Base Salary: $120K–$135K
• 10–15% bonus potential
